Delivery Options Our puppies are usually ready for delivery anywhere from 8-10 weeks of age, depending on their progression. Their progression will depend on the size of the litter and the relative competition they each have for mothers' milk. Typically our litters average around five pups, with the historical minimum being two and the maximum being eight. We never let a dog go until it is ready to make it on it's own and is in perfect health. Delivery to your area will depend on the area of the country you live in. Many prospective owners like to come to see their pup and choose one here, as well as to see the parents and their surroundings. But if that is not feasible, and if the owner lives within a 250 mile radius of Chamberlain, South Dakota, we usually try to meet the owner half way or work to find a solution that works for everyone. We try to work with our customers as much as possible! We ship our dogs across the country via air freight. The cost associated with air freight is typically the responsibility of the prospective owner. Dakota Pugs will be happy to arrange for air shipment (freight collect) from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Northwest/Delta Airlines is our preferred carrier out of Sioux Falls, and provides information about shipping pets at the link provided above. If we will be shipping your pug via air freight, we will need to know which city or airport code you wish to have your puppy shipped to. Dakota Pugs provides an airline approved carrier and all the necessary paperwork, as well as food and water needed to ship your puppy to it's new home safe and sound.
